Dr Sapna Agrawal
I am a GPST3 on the West Midlands scheme. During my childhood I have travelled widely across Europe and Asia and had international schooling including American and Indian schools. I studied medicine at Guys, Kings and St Thomas’s Medical School and obtained my MRCS before beginning GP training.I am interested in health inequalities, training quality, and improving the profile of GPs. I am interested in education and have completed my certificate level in medical education. I started and am the main administrator of the West Midland GPVTS group, which gives fellow GP trainees a platform to communicate with each other. I am happy to work individually or in a team. I am not afraid of hard work, can multitask, am organized, am inventive and can think outside the box. Posts held have included West Midlands AiT lead 2 years, National RCGP Education Lead 1 year, Chair AiT West Midlands cross speciality PGMDE Committee, Chair West Midlands LNC Committee 1 year. Have also sat on the QMTS, Medical ethics and revalidation committees at the RCGP and am helping with development of a committee for IMG trainees. Instagram : @sapnadoc1 Twitter Handle @SapnaDSa1
